Koloso is a fun 2 minute, 10 question quizz you can play that helps you improve your performace and measures and analyses your learning progress. It shows you specifically which areas you need to focus on to reach your learning and exam targets.
Koloso shares your results with your teacher and your parents so that you can get the targeted support that you need to get the very best results. Koloso allows you to play individually, or to create and join teams and competitions with your classmates, friends and family.
Every Koloso quiz is an opportunity to practice a combination of what you are learning in class at the time along with revising core skills, as you go along.

Ensure that all girls and boys complete equitable and quality primary and secondary education leading to relevant and Goal-4 effective learning outcomes. Increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship.
Eliminate gender disparities in education and ensure equal access to all levels of education and vocational training for the vulnerable, including persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples and children in vulnerable situations. Ensure that all youth and a substantial proportion of adults, both men and women, achieve literacy and numeracy
Our journey
Work on project Koloso started in October 2022, and we loaded our first test version of the Koloso mobile app to the Android Play Store and the iOS App Store in March 2023.
The second version of Koloso incorporating user feedback was in the stores and ready for more intense user-testing in August 2023.
In June 2023 we successfully completed an angel investment round, allowing us to accelerate product development and refinement, and setting us on the path to significant fundraising and expansion in mid-2024.
We are initially concentrating on serving schools and students in our home country of Zambia, but our intention is to expand internationally in the region starting in 2024.
